There Is A New Michael Jackson Game

The King of Pop Michael Jackson is no stranger to video games. Besides appearances in SEGA games like Space Channel 5 and Space Channel 5: Part 2, Jackson also had his own game Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker. That’s not all.

Today, Ubisoft showed a new performance-based Jackson game. According to the publisher, the game puts players in the shoes of the popstar and enables them to relive his most iconic performances through dancing and singing.

The game features iconic songs like Beat It and Billie Jean.

“Michael always pushed every limit when it came to technology to give his fans unforgettable entertainment experiences, whether it involved his videos, his recordings or his concerts. Now, with this interactive product, we have the chance to bring Michael, the artist, into households around the world in a perfect match of Michael’s artistry and the family entertainment which he always highly valued,” said John Branca, co-executor for The Estate of Michael Jackson.

There Is A New Michael Jackson Game “This game is a natural extension of what he would be doing today to raise his artistry to even greater heights for his fans of all generations,” Branca added. “It is a game that the entire family can experience and enjoy together and this is something that would please Michael tremendously.”

Previously, there have been reports of a new Jackson game, which will coincide with a “new” album and re-released works.

Michael Jackson: The Game will be released this holiday season on the Xbox 360 for the Kinect and the PS3 for the Move. There will also be Wii, PSP and DS versions.

New Xbox 360 Goes Live At E3!

We’ve been waiting for it, and it’s finally here! The new Xbox 360 has been unveiled, bearing the same name as your current Xbox 360 (instead of being called the Xbox 360 Slim), but boasting a slimmer form factor and better hardware. It’ll set you back $299, boasting a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi N and is shipping to stores today. If you were at the event, you probably already know that you’re getting a free Xbox 360 for attending. Will the new design and specifications change your mind about buying that PlayStation 3 Slim?

An alleged Italian Microsoft ad, originally found on Console Tribe, seems to have revealed a slim Xbox 360 alongside a renamed Project Natal, touting a 250GB HDD, built-in WiFi (it’s the future!), and compatibility with “Kinect” — presumably the new name for Natal. The advertisement leads back to the Italian Microsoft site and the source of the page tells us that Atlas Solutions — a Microsoft-owned ad company — pushed the image automatically to the site.

Microsoft Kinect Goes Official
The name of it was leaked just a short while ago, and now the Microsoft Kinect (previously, dubbed Project Natal) has gone official. Aside from the confirmation of the product name, some information on a few games were also mentioned, including a yoga game, dancing game, Kinect Sports, Kinectimals (a pet game), and of course, the all-important Start Wars game, that lets you fulfill your Jedi fantasies. We’re really looking forward to the Microsoft Kinect, but Microsoft hasn’t given any information on the price or release date just yet, though hopefully more information on this will be shed at the upcoming E3 conference, which is just around the corner. Will the Microsoft Kinect, PlayStation Move or Nintendo Wii eventually win the motion sensing war?

Is O2 UK following in AT&T’s footsteps?

The UK carrier has announced its move to ditch unlimited data plans for smartphone users from June 24th onwards, which is also the same day that the iPhone 4 will be launched. In its place, the carrier will be introducing monthly charges that are based on usage instead. Thanks to the change, £35/month contracts will include 500MB of data per month, and customers will be charged an additional £5 for each additional 500MB of data that they use.

The new data charges will apply to all new customers and existing customers who upgrade to a new smartphone. Existing contracts will not be affected by the changes until it’s time for renewal. Are you unhappy about this latest development, or do you think that the amount of data allocated is more than enough?

This is the scene in Guatemala after a 200ft deep sink hole swallowed up a three-storey building.

The enormous crater appeared in the Central American country’s capital, Guatemala City, as it was being ravaged by torrential rain and mudslides during Tropical Storm Agatha.

Agatha, the first named storm of the 2010 Pacific season, slammed into Guatemala and neighbouring El Salvador at the weekend, dumping more than three feet of rain in the region.

The enormous crater appeared while the city was being ravaged with high winds, torrential rain and deadly mudslides. Witnesses claim at least one man was in the three-storey building when it was swallowed up at a downtown intersection, and others remain missing.

Top Gun

Picture 1 of 10

Now and then, a foreign title translation can get right to the beating heart of the movie. Take Top Gun, for instance. Ostensibly a macho tale of America's best fighter pilots in training, but in reality a seething crucible of glistening homoeroticism. So maybe Israel's film bods knew what they were doing when they rechristened the movie Love In the Sky.
